Founder & Principal Solicitor
Career
A commercial litigation solicitor by training, Geoff spent the early part of his career at a major national law firm defending many of the UK’s largest housebuilders against claims by new build owners.
In 2014 Geoff realised a long-held ambition going from poacher to gamekeeper and founded Wingrove Law, a niche litigation practice exclusively advising buyers of defective new build homes (never developers).
Having previously acted for developers has given Geoff a unique insight into this complex area of law and practice that he now applies very effectively for the benefit of new build homeowners.
Wingrove Law works closely with a number of leading surveying firms and expert witnesses to help new build owners efficiently diagnose defects in their homes and pursue claims on predictable and cost-effective terms to achieve exceptional outcomes with a minimum of risk to the client.
The need for our services has never been greater as the industry continues to consolidate and the impact of exploitative practices and systemic abuses risks blighting the lives of ever more hardworking families.

Motivations
Challenging institutionalised and systemic corruption and abuse of power. Empowering homeowners to hold developers and warranty providers to account.
Finding solutions, not just commentating on the problems.
Seeking natural justice and fairness.
Developing efficient and effective procedures to improve access to justice. The more new build owners who achieve just outcomes, the more pressure developers and warranty providers will be under to improve construction quality and treat people fairly.
USPs
