About New Home Buyer Claims

Our New Home Buyer Claims service is designed to help you get a better outcome in relation to construction defects and build quality issues than you are likely to achieve on your own without professional help, and to do so affordably and cost-effectively.

Key features and objectives:

  • Fully managed claims process, with expert guidance and advice at every stage.

  • Affordable fixed- and predictable-cost fee structure.

  • More defects identified than if you rely on the developer to investigate.

  • Defects put right to a better standard than if you allow the developer to decide unilaterally what to do.

  • Minimise wasted effort, delays, stress and frustration commonly associated with attempting to negotiate with the developer without professional help.

  • Claim damages if the developer fails or refuses to put things right – funding and insurance options available (subject to an assessment of merits and other terms).

What does it cost?

New Home Buyer Claims is a bespoke legal service, the costs of which will depend on your circumstances, the nature and extent of construction issues with your home, your prior dealings with the housebuilder or warranty provider, their response to your claim, and other variables. However, our procedures and costs are generally predictable and where possible we offer a fixed fee service for peace of mind. We set out our costs and charges for your matter in your Client Care Letter which we send to you at the outset. If you do not want to proceed once you have seen your Client Care Letter, there is no obligation or cost to you.

Once your matter is underway, we can offer a wide range of individually-tailored funding packages to suit your circumstances and requirements.

Our New Home Buyer Claims service is carefully designed and as efficient as possible to ensure as far as possible that there will be a cost benefit to you from using it.

What does it cost if you don’t?

Attempting to deal with construction defects on your own without professional help, using the schemes laid on for you by your housebuilder and warranty provider, is liable to result in you being denied fair redress, suffering prolonged frustration, stress, loss of use and enjoyment of your home, and incurring potentially substantial financial losses.

You may not be able to easily quantify some of all of these losses but from our discussions with a great many new home buyers over many years they are very real and can be very costly.

New Home Buyer Claims is designed to ensure you limit or avoid these intangible or unquantified costs as much as possible, and obtain fair redress.

Please get in touch now for a free, no-obligation discussion to see how we can help you.
